WORKING WITH CRLC

|

CRLC is dedicated to increasing and enhancing the health and well-being of the community. We are eager to work with individuals or groups that share this goal and wish to take action to improve other people's lives.

Health and well-being encompass many, many different facets and can include such things as  healthy nutrition, financial security of vulnerable people, fitness and mobility, spiritual development, improved communication between family members, illness prevention, youth employment, senior programs, removing harmful pollutants from the environment, conserving natural spaces, and so on.

If you have an idea on how to make this community better and you are willing to commit time and work to achieve this goal, then CRLC is willing to provide at least part of the funding to make it happen.

Please note that normally projects that benefit larger sections of the community or that bring the community together for a worthwhile cause, would receive funding before projects that benefit only very few people.

For more information please also see the Grant Overview below.

What is a Conditional Grant Agreement

The Carp Ridge Learning Centre (CRLC) uses conditional grant agreements to transfer monies to a proponent for an approved CRLC project.

A conditional grant, unlike unconditional grants that can be used for any purpose the recipient sees fit, is for a specific purpose only and may not be used for any other project.

CRLC will provide conditional grants for any approved project that enhances, furthers or stimulates health and well-being in the community. These projects could take many different forms, and could deal, for example with healthy nutrition, financial security, exercise, spiritual development, improved communication between family members, illness prevention, youth employment, senior programs, removing harmful pollutants from the environment, conserving natural spaces, and so on.

In order to apply for a Conditional Grant, you will need to fill out and submit the on-line Conditional Grant application form.  The project proposal will then be reviewed by the CRLC Board, who will let you know if your project has been fully or partially approved or not.
