Families in Nature
The Centre encourages families and friends to experience the natural world together by exploring the beauty and complexity of our local habitat. Past programs at Carp Ridge have been hosted by Martha Webber, local activist and owner of 'Look and Listen', a small business that teaches natural interpretation by observing the wonderful variety of seasonal changes in Eastern Ontario trees, plants and animals.
Martha is a wealth of knowledge and enjoys sharing her wisdom with children & adults alike. She currently operates programs in the Ottawa area and has been featured in many news outlets for her work in local environmental education and protection -- a video about Martha is in production.
